 Manual Window Wand For Clear Story Windows

Put those operable clearstory windows to energy-saving use with our clerestory extension crank. High mounted windows are excellent for capturing light while providing privacy, but they can also be “excellent” heat traps. It is now possible to vent the heat that rises to these areas as easily as opening any other window in the home.

It’s inexpensive and can easily retrofit to existing or new window installations. By simple removal of the existing crank handle and replacement with an adapter (see Hex-Bolt part number 216 and 217 sold separately) the crank will open and close any operable clerestory window. It is not necessary to replace the current operator. Remember that you will only need one clerestory crank to operate all windows at the same height.

Color: natural anodized aluminum 

Size:  is the length of the Wand or Crank Length. (see Chart below)

Styles available: Sill Mounted or Jamb Mounted (see picture or video) 

You must buy corresponding adapter to use wand (sold separately) . See part # 216 or # 217 

Don't know what size to order?  Distance from floor is the measurement from the floor to the window. Example if the distance from the floor to the window is 7' then its advised to get a 3' wand or Crank length. See Chart Below for factory recommendations on length.
