Description
The sand screens come 10 to a case and come in a wide range of grits to best fit your stripping and sanding requirements. They can be used or wet or dry, and on both sides. Each screen is embedded with silicon carbide abrasives for maximum cutting efficiency when sanding. There are 60 to 150 grit options available. Each screen is extremely thin (1.4 mm thick), and therefore should be used with a pad.
60 grit extra aggressive screens are used as one of the first steps in sanding your wood floors to make them smooth and remove the raised grain.
80 grit aggressive screens are made for heavy-duty sanding to remove wax, paint, and old finish.
100 grit fine screens are used for medium sanding jobs to smooth down wood grains.
120 grit extra fine screens will remove scratches from lower coarse grits.
150 grit ultra fine screens are designed to smooth surfaces and remove small imperfections.
Even though these screens will do a great job sanding, they can't do it if they're clogged full of debris. Make sure to rinse out your screens often, and use them on both sides.
