The 12V 3000W Kit is a powerful system built around the Renogy Pro 12V 3kW Inverter Charger. It includes two 300Ah Renogy Core Mini lithium batteries (600Ah total), sized to run serious off-grid appliances — and paired with a 60A Renogy Rover MPPT controller to handle up to 800W of solar input.

It also includes the Renogy DC50S dual-input DC-DC charger — Landon’s favourite pick for vehicle charging. This compact unit charges the battery bank from your alternator while driving and features a second MPPT input just for portable solar panels — ideal for shaded campsites or adding extra solar on demand.

The system comes with Zero Grid’s full set of wiring diagrams, all DC fusing and protection gear, cables and lugs (cut-to-length by you), and everything you need to get started. No guesswork — just a rock-solid 12V system for full-time living or extended trips in your caravan.

A: This system is designed to run fridges, induction cooktops, coffee machines, water pumps, lighting, chargers, and more. You can safely power most 240V appliances up to 3000W.

Q: Can I add more batteries later?
A: This kit is designed as a fixed system with 2 x 300Ah batteries (600Ah total). It is not expandable.

Q: Does it come with solar panels?
A: No — solar panels are not included. The kit is sized to support up to 800W of solar input, giving you flexibility to choose your panels separately.

Q: Can I charge the batteries while driving?
A: Yes — the included Renogy DC50S lets you charge from your vehicle’s alternator while driving. It also features a separate MPPT input for portable solar panels.

Q: Are cables and lugs included?
A: Yes, all required 70mm² and 10mm² DC cabling and lugs are included. These are to be cut and crimped to suit your layout using the included wiring diagrams.

Q: Can I install this myself?
A: This system is designed for confident DIYers. We include a full set of wiring diagrams, but we recommend final inspection by a qualified sparky.
