Installation Notes
This panel comes pre-fitted with 3 meters of high-quality 4.0mm² dual-core solar cable. The rear junction box requires a small hole to be drilled in the mounting surface to allow the cable to pass through internally. It is designed for bonding using industrial adhesive (SikaFlex 252 or similar) or can be mechanically fastened via screws/bolts. Note: A solar charge controller is required to charge 12V/24V battery systems.

Is this panel suitable for marine environments?
Yes. The ETFE coating and fibreglass base are specifically designed to withstand salt water, UV exposure, and harsh marine conditions without delaminating.
Can I walk on this solar panel?
While fibreglass construction is extremely robust, we recommend the ARFLX (Aluminium Reinforced) version if frequent walking on the panel is expected. This model is designed for flexibility and durability on curved surfaces.
Why use a rear junction box instead of a front one?
The rear junction box creates a "flush mount" look. This is safer (no tripping on cables) and more aerodynamic, preventing wind noise and drag on vehicles.
