By adjusting the handles out wide, the cable system is optimised for cable fly's. When the handles are positioned at the top or bottom, you can connect them for a 1:1 pulling ratio, better suited for lat pulldown or low row exercises where more weight is required (This is not possible on a standard dual action pulley). The machine itself may only be 2.02m tall, but with the handles positioned upwards and the trolley to the very top you can maximise the ceiling height of your space for the perfect pulldown with full range of motion. The benefit of a 2:1 ratio over a 1:1 ratio is the distance the handle can be pulled. The handle can move twice the distance compared to a 1:1 ratio, giving you more room for larger cable flies and any exercise that requires the cable to move further, while also offering smaller increments when adjusting the weight.
